Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running this marathon to raise awareness that i am living proof that there is life after a tumour diagnosis .  i have called him freddie .  he is in the middle of my brain third ventricle and  it is too dangerous to operate so i attend MRI to monitoring his size . Bad news is if he grows it could kill me and usually this type of tumour is only found after death .  This took me by surprise and through the support of a number of charities, families ,  , nhs and others i have now come to accept and live with him. My journey to this point has had its ups and downs and my aspirations are is to complete this challenge , raise awareness and promote this invaluable cause.

I hope you can give but please only give if you can . i know many are struggling following the pandemic

The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.
