Story

We are walking The 26mile South Downs Trekathon in memory of Elizabeth Lambert who was an amazing mother and wife.

Everyone that had the privilege to meet Liz found that she was the most caring, selfless and loving lady. She was devoted to her family and was much loved by her family, friends and work colleagues.

The care that Liz received at the Royal Marsden was truly amazing, and the doctors and nursing staff helped Liz and her family through the very tough times.

They gave Liz one of the most important gifts she could have asked for, time, precious time that she spent with her family, friends and colleagues.

On Saturday 16th May David and Louise are taking part in The South Downs Trekathon from Lewes village to Beachyhead. We thought this would be a great challenge for us since losing nearly 7 stone between us. We are trying to earn your sponsorship by upping the anti with this 26.2mile challenge which is nearly double what we have walked before, so please donate generously as we are truly greatful for the treatment that Liz received at the Royal Marsden.
