Manchester, Brighton & London Marathon 2017 · 2 April 2017

The Mental Health Foundation believe no-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live. We’re developing better ways to support good mental health in every community.

Story

I am currently a student mental health nurse studying hard so I am able to work with people who are suffering from mental health problems.

I have previously been overweight and signed up for my first marathon in 2014. Since then I have run many races and been so blessed to be able to support, motivate and inspire others to run and look after their own mental health.

I have set myself a challenge in 2017 to run three marathons in April, including Manchester, Brighton and London. I know this will be such a challenge for me but to be able to run for such a fantastic charity which I am passionate about will fill me with so much encouragement and support.
