In May 2021 I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer, but thankfully early stages and treatable.  Having a 1 year old daughter this diagnosis was terrifying but I felt glad to have found it at an early stage.  I then underwent surgery, 5 months of chemotherapy and 3 weeks of radiotherapy. 

At the start, throughout and particularly after finishing my treatment Maggie's Cambridge have been an amazing support. The staff are experienced and knowledgeable, and they just 'get it' and look after you in whatever way they can. Nothing is too much effort.  

So myself and Andy have decided to give back to them as they do such an important job in cancer support and have got us through such a tough time.  So we will both be jumping out of a plane on the 14th July 2022 to raise money for the centre.
