UKSA Test the Water 2020
Campaign by UKSA (RCN 299248)
The Test the Water programme is funded entirely by individual and company donations, and gives every Year 6 child on the Isle of Wight the opportunity to participate in a half-day sailing taster session with UKSA.

Story

Louis Gammage passed away on Friday 10th July 2020. He was very much loved by his family and friends. His wife Rona has chosen to support UKSA in honour of her beloved husband as they both enjoyed hearing the adventures her family were having on the Isle of Wight.

At this time it is even more important to support small charities which enable young people to have adventures outside of the home. We hope that you can join us in supporting our chosen charity in memory of Louis.

The Test the Water programme is funded entirely by individual and company donations, and gives every Year 6 child on the Isle of Wight the opportunity to participate in a half-day sailing taster session with UKSA. These sessions are designed to develop key skills like self-esteem, resilience and teamwork, as well as water-confidence. Every £30 raised enables a child to have an on the water adventure.
