ActionAid is an international charity that works towards ending violence against women and girls and fighting poverty so that they can create the future they want.

They work to ensure that women and girls are away from harm, able to earn a living, claim their rights, and have their rights and leadership prioritized during times of crisis.

They also offer humanitarian responses to emergencies and disasters around the world, and carry out research and policy analysis to push for change.

They work in a number of places, including: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Burundi, Cambodia, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Nigeria, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somaliland, South Africa, Tanzania, The Gambia, Thailand, Uganada, Vietnam, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
