Story
It's my 30th birthday next week, and reflecting on this milestone, I count myself as very fortunate. I wanted to do something to pay it forward.
Through my recent activities dabbling in local politics, I've become acquainted with the East Herts Citizen's Advice Bureau [1] and the amazing work they do. They offer free, confidential, high-quality advice to people from all walks of life, to help them cope with the spanners which life sometimes throws in the works. They helped over 5000 people last year. I've heard nothing but praise for the staff and volunteers of Citizen's Advice!
So I'm hoping to raise £150, which I hope can go towards the refurbishment of their waiting area in the Bishop's Stortford branch.
I'm not able to drink as much beer these days as I used to, so I hope you may consider giving a fiver to this great charity instead of buying me a pint for my 30th. Thank you :)
