We have set up a supporter fund with the Brain tumour charity, The Louey Parkhurst Fund. Having a special fund in memory of our Louey means 100% of the money donated goes to where we want it to within the charity and isn't used for any administration or governance costs. We have chosen for all money donated in Loueys name to be directed into Paediatric research. More needs to be done in the diagnosis and treatment in these tumours for our children.
Louey would have been 16 years old on the 20th of September 2022 and amongst the things we will be doing to mark and remember our beautiful boy Louey , we will be taking on the challenge of walking Snowdon. As a group only Loz has done this before and as for the rest of use , wish us luck as we are definitely not walkers never mind hikers! Our Team for this one are Lee and I, Ellie , Reggie , Faye, Loz , Emily , Kerry and Marcus.
Louey would have enjoyed doing this , well maybe more the build up and getting all the right gear rather than the walk. But he would have put his all into it and pushed himself which is what we are going to do.
