We want to thank all of you for sponsoring us to run the Edinburgh Marathon. We had a great day on Sunday 12th June 2005. Ben finished in 3 hours 35 minutes beating his 2004 London marathon time by 12 minutes. Tansy and Lou finished in 3 hours 43 minutes (with enough energy left for a sprint finish!!), with Lou beating her 2004 Edinburgh marathon by 24 minutes and Tansy getting an amazing time for her first marathon. We were inspired to run extra fast with the promise of doubling sponsor money from two very generous people. Although Ben didn't feel the need to run in a Speedo and cape for an extra £20!

With your help we are going to raise £2500 for Marie Curie. This is equivalent to 167 hours of free nursing for someone dealing with cancer or an infusion pump. You have very generously donated over £1100 on our website and another £1400 on sponsor forms which we are hoping to collect from you within the next week.
