Well hello :-D

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I will be taking on the HUGE challenge of running the Virgin London Marathon on April 21st 2013 and need your help!  I have chosen to run the marathon in memory of Andy Mole - my boyfriend Simon's mum - who passed away quite suddenly from cancer in October 2010. 

She spent the last week of her time with us at North Devon Hospice where both she and the family were cared for with compassion and heartfelt support.  I would like to raise as much money as I can for the hospice where it can be used to ensure that the love, help and support they provide can continue for families who may find themselves in a similar position. 

I really appreciate your support with this endeavour and will promise to keep you updated on the trials and tribulations of my training leading up to the big day!  This will be the biggest physical challenge that I have taken part in and I will be putting my all into my training and of course on the day to ensure that I make it round in one piece!  Andy was also supportive of my love for running and I will be thinking of her when I start, finish and the 26.2 miles in between.
