Story

AS MOST OF YOU KNOW THE JUMP HAS HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED AGAIN DUE TO BAD WEATHER... IT IS NOW 8TH MARCH 2011........ THANKS FOR YOUR DONATIONS SO FAR AND I PROMISE THAT AS SOON AS MOTHER NATURE STOPS MESSING AROUND I AM GOING TO FLING MYSELF OUT OF THAT PLANE AS SOON AS I CAN

Guys I need your help....I have done something REALLY REALLY stupid.........................

I am a complete coward, and I have signed up (and paid for out of my own pocket....so every penny you donate goes direct to the charity) to do a Tandem Skydive with The Red Devils Freefall Parachute Display team, on 6th August 2010

'The Red Devils' is the official parachute display team of both the Parachute Regiment ('The PARAS') and the British Army.

I am however doing it for a worthwile cause which I believe deserves all the help they can get for all the good work they do......

HELP FOR HEROES!!!

The message of the charity is simple: They are strictly non political and non critical; they simply want to help. they believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. they may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better.

So basically I am asking you all to dig deep, and think the wonderful thought that I will be..........

throwing myself out of a plane at 13,000 feet in August 2010.....(that vision alone should be enough to make you donate...you would probably all just pay me direct to do it anyway......without the chute)

What do I get out of it.........

I get to fullful one of my secret dreams to do a parachute jump, even though it scares me to death the thought of it.........

oh yes..... and as some of you already know, I also get to be strapped to a serving soldier while doing it, which of course is the main incentive for me., and is another one of my fantasies that i can check off my list....

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I will be updating it through the year, with my thoughts and fears, and there will be loads of photos for you to all have a laugh at
