In memory of Caspar Gaze
We are radically advancing research to achieve a life free from epilepsy

Story

Epilepsy interrupts the lives of ordinary, extraordinary people. It’s invisible. It’s unpredictable. It’s frightening. Epilepsy Research UK is the only UK charity exclusively dedicated to driving and enabling life changing, life saving research into epilepsy.

In 2017, I lost my cousin Caspar as a result of an epileptic seizure, aged 22. Caspar and his twin brother Milo were diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2003 as they began to have occasional absence seizures, these became more and more numerous as they grew older. In their early teens they began to have grand Mal seizures. Despite seeing doctors in England, France and USA, their seizures never became properly controlled.

I want to be raising money for Epilepsy Research UK in memory of Caspar, with the hope that the funds raised will bring researchers closer to making the necessary breakthroughs.
