I was a full time mum of 3 and a carer to Harvey but probably didn’t realise how much at the time .As he was still at school part time until the last year of life .

I’m now working as a reablement care assistant . Which helps me helping others .

When my son had to. Make a decision whether to stay in hospital for end of life care or come home , we were offered a place at HH. But they had just started their out reach team. So Harvey’s wish was to come home . This choice was only possible because of the team .we also laid Harv to rest in the butterfly suit. So his family could visit him.

Signing up to sparkle for me is hoping other families can have the same decision as Harvey .
