Hello and Thank You for clicking on here guys!

I'm hoping that you'll be supporting me in what is turning out to be the craziest decision i've ever made.... running, with my sister Sophia, this year's Flora London Marathon!!

Now I know what most of you are thinking - Yeah, ok, Sophia maybe, but you Lorraine?! Are you crazy...??! Well, yes, I am. I'm unfit, drink too much, probably overweight, and only 4"10 (which means my little legs will have to run further)... but this is why i'm hoping you'll sponsor me, just because of how unbelievable this challenge is!! 

As most of you will know, I have given up alcohol for 116 days, cut down on the Jaffa cakes, purchased some lycra and have been training hard since December, and though its been a real struggle against wind, cold, snow and injury, I'm even more determined now than ever to see this goal through to the end and to get over that finishing line on the 26th of April!!

I am raising money for the Red Cross as I am passionate about the work they do for those in need, in the UK and around the world. That's why i work for them! In this time when everyone is affected by the credit crunch, it is the most vulnerable and needy that suffer the most when charities struggle to get donations... So please sponsor me today, to show your support for my, albeit mental, attempt at this and to help those who need it most around the world...

Guys, if you all just gave me a fiver, i'd be well on my way to my target.... Surely seeing me just attempt this is well worth the money?! So, for the price of a just a glass of wine, or a pint and a packet of crisps, you can make all the difference!!
