Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

 

I am participating in the Great North with my partner, Anne.  We have good reason to want to support MacMillan as we have both lost parents to cancer. 

My wonderful mum, Veronica died in 2003 at the age of 62.  She was a wonderful woman, who had a real zest for life, a wicked sense of humour and a real sense of social justice.  I am running this race for her.

When I say running - I am of course exaggerating!  If you are watching on the day, I reckon if I train very hard, I might stumble in alongside characters such as Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, the Teenage Ninja turtles and the lifesize replica of the Angel of the North!  If my performance at the Edinburgh 10k is anything to go by, I will be well behind the pantomime horse :-)
