Thank you very much for visiting my donars web page.

I am getting on my bike and taking positive action in the fight against breast, ovarian and cervical cancers. The three charities I will be fund raising for is Breast Cancer Care, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Trust - their work is of vital importance and needs your support.

In October 2012, along with five friends, I am joining a further 120 women including Melinda Messenger and singer Natasha Hamilton to cycle around 350 km over five days across India - both on and off road.

My challenge is to raise a minimum of £2,800 to support the work of Women V Cancer and be fit enough to undertake the 350 km in the hot Indian climate.

Please be assured the money raised will go directly to the charity as I am funding my own travel and accommodation costs.

With my five fellow cyclists Sue, Carolyn, Sophie, Geeta and Jenny we have already raised an amazing £1230.20 each from our quiz and Bollywood nights. I am very grateful to all those who supported these events and gave so generously.

I would also like to thank the following people who have sent contributions: Karl Hoad, Daphne Hoad, Ingrid, Pam Jarrad, Brenda & Millie and Chris Leonard. Thank you Mary Pavy for the pottery raffle prize. Thank you to the Terry Jull squash league for their generous donations.

Thank you for all those who supported the Pampered Chef evening and the cup cake sale.

A special thank you to my family for putting up with the grumpy Hoad when she comes back wet from running, swimming and cycling! I have a long road to travel before I set off to India.
