Story
On Sunday 21st February 2010 I ran the Sussex Beacon Half Marathon in aid of the Lymphoma Association, a UK charity which provides support and information on a range of issues to anyone with lymphatic cancer, their families, carers and friends.
Battling through 13.1 miles of outrageous weather conditions, I dragged myself across the finish line in 2 hours 19 minutes and 30 seconds...and very pleased with that I am too! Now that I have completed this worthy mission I hope to acheive a second one and raise a whole grand for the LA off the back of my althetic exploits! I have been very touched by everyone's generosity so far so thought I'd raise the bar a bit!
Please give what you can - I know almost everyone's skint but if you could spare a quid or two I will love you forever! It will make my current aching muscles and silly hobbling walk worthwhile!
Thanks so much for your support :) L x x
