We support families and their children to realise they are not alone in the world

Story

Hi there, thanks for helping me to raise money for REACH association which is a charity that supports families like ours of children born with upper limb deficiency.

REACH aims to provide affected families with the opportunity to get together, share experiences and information on what to do (or not to do) and where to go for advice regarding treatment.

They work with doctors, health visitors and teachers to educate them about this disability and hire out specialist adapted one handed musical instruments and sports equipment so that children are not excluded from activities at school.

But most importantly, they need constant funding to provide an annual activity holiday for 50 children who get a chance to tackle climbing, abseiling, canoeing and sailing. This helps the children to realise they are not the only one with this disability and just how much they can achieve despite their 'difference'.

Thanks again and wish me luck..... i'm going to need it!
