Once again my son Eddie and I will be braving the chilly waters of Scapa Bay to raise money for ClicSargent, and also to remember members of our family and friends who have died from cancer.

This may not be a difficult as climbing a mountain or running a marathon (which are all amazing things to do) but for someone who dislikes sea water and all the critters that are in it, this really is a challenge.

Did I also mention that the dip is on Boxing Day in Orkney- a place not known for its tropical warm waters!!!!

So please help me and Eddie raise as much as we can for ClicSargent which is an amazing charity and does so much to help.

This is our 5th year of dipping and this year Eddie has been chosen to be the star promoter as he has been dipping (but only as deep as his wellies) since he was 4 and has been the youngest dipper nearly every year.

Please give as much as you can - every penny counts
