So as it is my 50th year I decided to finally try and enter the London Marathon as it is being run on my birthday this year.  The lovely people at Battersea said yes and so if any of you feel you are able to donate to this excellent charity I would be grateful.  I am asking anyone who would normally, buy me a present, Costa or a gin, on my birthday to please donate money to Battersea instead!
