Back in 2004 while on a night out with friends in a nightclub in London a man came off a balcony above me and landed on me. It paralysed me instantly with a C4/5 spinal cord injury which means complete paralysis from the shoulders down and in a wheelchair.

I wasn’t prepared to just sit and wait for a cure to come along. I wanted to do whatever it takes to speed up the process!
Now I'm a Cure Girl  and our mission is to make chronic spinal cord injury curable!  We are seven women from across the world living with a spinal cord injury.  We support research initiatives, fundraise and tirelessly campaign for a cure for paralysis. Read our blog here: www.curegirls.com
