Back in 2004 while on a night out with friends in a nightclub in London a man came off a balcony above me and landed on me. It paralysed me instantly with a C4/5 spinal cord injury which means complete paralysis from the shoulders down and in a wheelchair.
I wasn’t prepared to just sit and wait for a cure to come along. I wanted to do whatever it takes to speed up the process!
Now I'm a Cure Girl and our mission is to make chronic spinal cord injury curable! We are seven women from across the world living with a spinal cord injury. We support research initiatives, fundraise and tirelessly campaign for a cure for paralysis. Read our blog here: www.curegirls.com
I am one of the 3 million people living with paralysis and we urgently need a cure. Every eight hours in the UK alone someone is told that they will never walk again.
Please donate as it could be a potentially life changing donation!
We need a cure sooner rather than later ....🙏❤️
I’m fundraising for nsif charity.
I will be giving up booze and sugar for one month (the whole of November) to raise money for research for a cure for paralysis. Plenty of clean eating!
Sugar is in everything!
