After a lot of persuading from Kathleen!) We have decided to take on the Kintyre Way full Ultra because it is finishing in our own beautiful village of Tarbert. We will be running 32 miles over the hills from Tayinloan & all going well finishing at Tarbert Harbour. 

Dementia has affected our family massively, I lost my father in law Donnie Macdonald 4 yrs ago to vascular dementia & we are now facing the same heart breaking condition with our own dad as he has been diagnosed with vascular dementia & is now in the advanced stages. I won’t rattle on but this is a devastating disease & if we can help in anyway we will & running is one way in which we feel we can help with your support.
