Story
Voices of the Holocaust began with a collective vision and understanding, that, as Holocaust education began entering a new era - as survivors were increasingly unable to share their stories, asking young people to bear witness to the horrors of the Holocaust - needed a new and powerful alternative. Voices knew that theatre, if approached in the right way, could be a powerful surrogate human voice to engage young people and ask them to continue to bear witness.Voices is grounded in years of academic research and study. The charity has the support of the European Jewish Fund, a partnership with the Association of Jewish Refugees, Milton Keynes District Reform Synagogue and the endorsement of academics across the world, all of whom see in its work a truly compelling and important means to ensure that Holocaust history and the voices of those who survived are not lost. The charity needs your help and supoprt to reach more schools and teach more students.
