Voices of the Holocaust began 10 years ago as a small group of volunteers with a collective vision and understanding; that, as Holocaust education began entering a new era - as survivors were increasingly unable to share their stories, asking young people to bear witness to the horrors of the Holocaust -needed a new and powerful alternative. They knew that theatre, if approached in the right way, could be a powerful surrogate human voice to engage young people and ask them to continue to bear witness.
Voices is grounded in years of academic research and study. We now have the support of the European Jewish Fund, a partnership with the AJR, MKDRS and the endorsement of academics across the world, all of whom see in our work a truly compelling and important means to ensure that Holocaust history and the voices of those who survived are not lost.
Now we ask for your help - help us to reach more schools and teach more students. As a charity we can only do what we do with your support.
