Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ten years ago I started to say good bye to my dad and over the years I have watched the man who was my dad disappear due to Alzheimers.  Dad loved walking and before he got too ill we used to go on walks together (usually via a pub) on my "dad days". And so I now tackle this rather large walk (the world's highest freestanding mountain!!)  in memory of the man he was.  Dad would think it hilarious that his eldest daughter who loves life's luxury's and who he himself described as being "Built for comfort and not for speed" was tackling Kili in his honour, but to quote him on this "If you can't take a joke, you shouldn't join!!"

Thank you to everyone who makes a donation to this very worthy charity which continues to strive to find a cure for the disease that has taken my dad from me.
