It's that time of year again, and I'll be running the 5k Race for Life, in order to raise money for Cancer Research. It's a charity that's extremely close to my heart, and I'm sure it is to yours too.

One in three of us are affected by cancer, either directly, or having someone close to us being diagnosed.

I ran my first Race for Life back in 2009, at which time my uncle 'Ralphy' had just been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Since then he's faced massive hurdles, but thanks to the work that cancer research does, (and the fact that he's a bit of a tough nut!)  he is healthy and recovering really well :-) Something that I always think about when the little things get me down!

So please please please sponsor me, and donate anything you can... every penny counts! 

This race is for Denise, Eileen, Ralphy... and everyone affected by cancer...
