I'm lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to join #TeamOrange to run the London Marathon 2024 and raise awareness and money for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

As many of you know, my wonderful mum Joy was extremely active until she was diagnosed with the muscle wasting condition 'Inclusion Body Myositis' in her 40's. Over the past 15 years, i've witnessed first hand the life changing impact this disease has had, and continues to have, on her, and those around her.

I'm hoping by taking on this challenge I can raise more awareness for those suffering with muscle wasting conditions whilst keeping myself active, just like Mum used to.
