London Landmarks Half Marathon 2023 · 2 April 2023 ·

A fun, quirky Half Marathon through London's iconic Landmarks on Sunday 2nd April 2023.

Story

In April 2023, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Diabetes UK.

In 2020, at the age of 8, my friends daughter Lilly was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Lilly also happens to be my daughter Lilys best friend. I had no idea just how life changing Type 1 was but over the past few years watching the struggles Lilly and her family go through to keep her levels stable has been a massive eye opener and as an onlooker not being able to do anything to help has been truly heartbreaking. A group of us are all running this half marathon together to not only raise money to hopefully one day find a cure but to raise awareness of this life changing condition and also show Lilly we think she is an absolute warrior. I am not a runner.. but if Lilly can deal with what she does on a daily basis with a smile on her face then I will make sure I keep one on mine during this event.

I would be so grateful if you could support us and sponsor what you can to help Diabetes UK continue with their amazing research.
