Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over ten years ago my husband, Peter was first diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, I well remember the phone call he made to me at work when he told me the news. it is one of those occasions that I will never forget.

Parkinson's Disease is a progressive disease, and it is hard to see some one you love getting progressively worse, and yet given the support Parkinson's Disease could be something in the past, with modern medicine  a cure can not be far away. But it all takes money!!.

I have decided to run the London Marathon this year in April, I have previously run the Great North Run which is a half marathon

So please give, every little helps

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
