Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2012 a dear friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, she has fought off the cancer and is continuing her preventative treatment throughout 2013. We are all hugely grateful for the practical and emotional support that she has received throughout from the MacMillan nurses.
It is for this reason that I, along with a team of her family and friends, are taking part in a sponsored 100km hike for MacMillan Cancer Support, walking from London to Brighton. This is classified as an ultramarathon, as we will be walking 2 marathons in 24hrs. Starting on Saturday morning from Richmond Park, we walk all day, then on through the night to arrive in Brighton on Sunday morning. I would be very grateful if you could make a donation to this excellent charity.
