This once in a lifetime adventure will allow trekkers to take on the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and summit its highest peak - Mount Toubkal

Story

We are merrily putting our best walking shoes on and hoping to mount Mount Toubkal in August.

After meeting the Strawberry Field team and seeing the brilliant work they do to support people in the community, we - slightly inadvertently - signed up to this rather challenging trek. We are, however, determined to put some good training in and complete the trek in the hot heat of August. Even if one of us is dragging the other by her hip flask.

Lorna is particularly excited about the donkey we get allocated to help carry our bags - she seems to have lofty expectations about how much the donkey is going to compensate for any weary feet.

Please help us to raise funds for the Salvation Army and Strawberry Field - all money raised will go to the charity. In return we will document our progress and share updates on how much we've bothered the donkeys with selfies.

Whilst the trek will be challenging, we are of course very excited for the chance to see Morocco and complete a challenge of a lifetime - we want to say a big thank you to everyone in advance for their support.
