Story
We are doing this as a personal challenge and to help raise much needed funds for Sussex Cancer Fund.
The services they supply is crucial to their patients and families. They are a small and wonderful team that do massive, great things with every penny they receive.
Lorna: Most of us have been touched by cancer in some way, my mum died of lung cancer in 2011 and I have many friends that have had to face cancer in some way too. It is an honour to do all I can to support them and raise money for SCF.
I have known of SCF for 2 years now and I am amazed at how much they do for Sussex people living with cancer.
Rikki: Almost everyone I know has a tragic and heartbreaking story of how Cancer has had an impact on our lives. My mother survived a very long battle with Pancreatic cancer, at the same time my father had his own fight with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. They are lucky and both living well as survivers. However too many families face the loss of a loved one way before their time.
Lorna introduced me to SCF and the amazing work the team do at helping families manage their new normal, whilst living with cancer.
I feel very honoured to be helping them fund raise for their ongoing efforts.
Please help us get to our target.
