Story

My family and I are taking part in Action for M.E.'s ‘Walk with M.E 2019’. Together we are aiming to hit 1 million steps in 100 days. My condition means I won’t be able to contribute many steps, so my family are quite literally stepping up and doing it for me 💪🏽

M.E affects an estimated quarter of a million people in the UK, with many more cases expected to be as yet undiagnosed. This devastating illness continues to rob people of their lives - 75% of sufferers are unable to work and 25% are completely bedridden, unable to tolerate sound, light or touch. In spite of this, current funding into research for the illness remains pitifully low.

Please sponsor us and help us to raise money for Action for M.E. Your sponsorship will go towards much needed support for people suffering from this debilitating illness, as well as biomedical research into better treatment and a possible cure.

At Action for M.E. we're working to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect experienced by men, women and children with M.E. We provide a lifeline of support to thousands of people each year, campaign to raise awareness of M.E. and work to encourage more high-quality biomedical research.
