If your reading this page please dig deep for this very worthwhile charity. During my mother/wife's time at the freinds of beaton unit it offered the quiet sanctuary that was important during the bone marrow transplant procedure.  A very big thank you to all the volunteers who made the stay as pleasant as possible. The monies raised so far were donated and collected at my mother/wife's funeral at the Doune Parish Church Macduff with the final interment at the  Aberdeen West Crematorium.
