Story

Ever since I moved to Martin Hussingtree and saw the ridge of the Abberley Hills and then heard of the Sponsored Walk of the Worcestershire Way in aid of St Richard's Hospice, I have wanted to take part. Some 20 years later I have decided it is now or never!

This year seems particularly right as St Richards has launched an appeal  for an extra £1.4 million to expand its buildings. This will enable them to provide support for people from the moment they are diagnosed, so improving their quality of life and offering  support to their family.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing hospice in Worcester providing such wonderful care and I hope that through my efforts you will feel willing to support this appeal.

I shall be walking in memory of my father, David, who first introduced me to the beautiful Teme Valley, my father - in- law, Ewen, and good friend Michael Davies. Three men who, in their own ways, never shied away from a physical challenge.
