We offer therapy to parents and babies to help form strong & loving relationships

Story

Hi!

It's been almost two decades since I ran my last marathon, but I turn 42 this year, so what better way to celebrate than to run 42 kilometres while raising money for charity!

I’ve chosen to support OXPIP, which provides therapeutic support to parents and babies. As a nurse practitioner and mum to a 15 month old daughter, I know first hand how vital attachment is between parent and baby, especially in the first two years of life. However, sometimes parents and infants struggle to bond. OXPIP offers such families intensive therapeutic help, to give them the best chance of enjoying the lifelong benefits of good attachment. OXPIP also provides training to professionals in this field, both nationally and internationally.

I'm thrilled to be raising money for a charity that helps parents and their babies to form strong and loving relationships.

When you donate you can also help to “choose my tunes” by picking a song for me to put on my race day playlist.

Thank you so much for all of your support, donations and songs!

xx Lori
