Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, which I've set up in honour of my uncle Ian Britton.
Ian
Plucked by Chelsea FC from our hometown of Dundee at the age of 15, and regularly touted by the UK media as having had one of the worst haircuts in sporting history (!) - Ian is currently battling prostate and bone cancer. I would like to dedicate my 2014 Tokyo Marathon run to him. Here's his story . . . Ian's story
Since being diagnosed, Ian has very much appreciated the support and home visits he's received from Macmillan nurses.
Macmillan:
GBP5 per month can help provide counseling to someone dealing with the impact of cancer.
GBP10 can help to provide one to one medical care which matters so much.
Me (Lori)
The furthest I've ever run was a 5km when I was 19; I'm now 34 . . . Any boost to morale would be much appreciated!
Thanking you very much in advance for your support.
Love from Tokyo, Lori
