Great North Run 2022
Campaign by Bowel Cancer UK (RCN 1071038)
The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon with an incredible atmosphere. It's an amazing event to be a part of whether you're after a personal best or just wanting to be a part of something special.

Story

Bowel Cancer can affect anyone at any age. Every year 2500 people under 50 are diagnosed with it - including my sister @andreakrobson Diagnosed with Bowel Cancer at the end of 2016 aged 37, she went through chemotherapy & surgery - losing a large colon & gaining a stoma

She is currently in remission but since then has been through endless appointments, scans, tests & surgeries. Please check out @andreakrobson for all the #bowlies stuff she gets up to

Thank you to the amazing @BowelsOfStMarks @StGeorgesTrust @bowelcanceruk @macmillancancer

Aged 45 & 3/4 I ve decided to run (get round) this year's 'great north run', with my good mate Gavin Lord. We are raising money for bowelcancer uk and if you could support

Bowel Cancer is treatable & curable if caught at an early stage so get to know the symptoms:
Change in bowel habits
Pain or lump in your stomach
Blood in your poo
Extreme tiredness
Unexplained weight loss
