Loughborough AU invites you to help support The Rob George Foundation and Anthony Nolan.
Rob George sadly passed away on the 9th of December 2013 after losing his epic battle with Leukaemia. Rob was not only a very talented cricketer player but also had a very positive influence over others in the club. Elected as chairman of the club at the end of last year’s season, Rob was at the heart of Loughborough cricket.
Losing Rob so suddenly left us all very sad. Thankfully Rob's positive attitude and passion for life was far too strong to ever be beaten. In loving memory of Robbie G is a charity set up and run by his family.
The Rob George Foundation
The Rob George Foundation has two clear objectives:
1) To provide practical and/or financial support to young people with life threatening or terminal illnesses.
2) To provide financial support to young people who demonstrate exceptional commitment and/or ability in the worlds of sport or the performing arts but may be held back by their financial situation from pursuing their goals.
