Hi all :).

Firstly I have a bit of a confession: I've never been a runner.

I decided to do this on a...bit of a whim, but I'll be taking part in the Ashford & District 10K in February in memory of my beloved grandmother.

Whilst 8 years sounds like a massive length of time, cancer turned the lives of myself and my family upside down back in 2006 and it still feels like it was yesterday. We couldn't have done it without the team at Macmillan Cancer Support, and this is my way of saying thank you.

Whether I run, jog, walk, or crawl across the finish line, I will do this in thanks for everything that the people at Macmillan do every day.
