Story
The Little Bundles Baby Bank that we volunteer for urgently needs funds to secure a new premises, so we’ve signed up to join a team, doing a virtual Channel swim!
We’ll be aiming to swim at least 70 lengths each of the Arun Leisure Centre swimming pool to help contribute to the total distance covered.
Isabelle is the only child member of the team …. And I haven’t been swimming in a very long time, so please help us to reach our target!
More about the baby bank
The baby bank service has been running for over 2 years, it works on a referral basis, working with partners such as midwives, health visitors, family centres, refuges, food banks and other local charities. You can find out more here: www.facebook.com/littlebundleschichesterarun
The baby bank is run entirely by volunteers and all our items are donated to us by the public or local businesses.
In 2020, there were over 400 referrals from our partners and the team worked hard through the coronavirus pandemic to continue to support our community. This included providing hundreds of Christmas presents too!
We’ll soon lose our hugely valuable premises. We now need to look to the next phase of our baby bank and secure long term premises and continue to expand and support even more of our community in need.
