Officers from Longhaugh Community Policing Team are participating in the Dundee Cyclathon 2018 on Sunday 9th September, hoping to fundraise while doing so towards Children 1st.  Children 1st is Scotland's national children's charity.  

This is in line with the recent much publisised "Trauma Teddies" initiative which was in collaboration with Children 1st. 

The route follows the Dundee green circular route which is 26 miles long.  Moreover, Sgt Jamie Webster and PC Dave Melville are to make this task more arduous by completing this wearing full public order uniform!
