Fundraising for Dogs Trust
Story
In June 2009 my trusty hound, Patch, and I are backpacking from John O'Groats to Lands End.
We will walk over 1200 miles in around 3 months without support - I will be carrying my own tent and supplies and will be unaccompanied.
I am very aware that this will be no walk in the park... with no-where secure to leave Patch even basic activities like showering and food shopping will not be easy - comfortable B&B's / Hotels and pub grub will be out of the question! And we all know I'm going to get lost!!
It's a long walk for me - but it's an even longer walk for my Jack Russell "Patch"! Between now and June we will be in training to build up our strength and fitness - and to condition Patch's feet so they don't get sore. Before we leave Patch will have a health check at the vets - her well being will be my priority throughout.
I appreciate all the support you can give for this challenge. Dog's Trust need the funds and I need the support!
