Just when you thought January would be spent on the sofa, eating leftover chocolate coins, and counting down the days until the 6 Nations starts, it is back, Doddie Aid 2022!

Story

After a fantastic Doddie Aid in 2021, I've decided to take part again.  Last year I pledged 250 miles and managed 275 so this year I'm going for 300 miles by 12th February.  Nothing like a challenge!!

Every sponsorship, no matter the size, helps to encourage me to walk, run, cycle and ride towards my goal.

This year, we have started a team of our own and as the Long Distance Punners take on Doddie Aid 2022, we hope to raise vital funds to aid research and support for MND.

Doddie's story has transcended the rugby world. To fearlessly face down his diagnosis and raise £6 million in 4 years for MND research and a further £1.25 million to support MND patients has been mind blowing. And to have done it with a smile never far from his lips, and humour punctuating every call to action, Doddie is an inspiration. Doddie Aid is a way for us all to do our little bit to help him and the Foundation in the quest to find better treatments for MND.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and reading about this important cause.
