I decided to cycle the London to Paris, over 4 days, from the 15th September, in aid of Myeloma UK. I want to raise money to support their research and amazing support to myeloma patients like myself.
I signed up in January 2021 as a ‘non-cyclist’ having had my second stem cell transplant in September 2020 but sadly the ride got postponed because of covid. So, another year of training, this time alongside a fulltime job! Not sure if this is good or bad!
Last year my local club helped me to do the distance in the UK so that my sponsors knew I’d ‘earned’ my sponsorship :-). Hopefully this year it will go ahead with no issues and thankfully I’ve stayed in remission during this time.
I would be so grateful if you could donate to this amazing cause. It will also contribute to my #50KB450 - an overall challenge to raise over £50,000 before I am 50 (2025) - we've currently raised over £40,000, and I'm hoping to raise at least £6,000 for this cycle. This will take the fundraising for the Gascoyne family to over £175,000 so we're super proud!
None of this fundraising will go to costs which are covered separately so every penny raised on this page will go to Myeloma UK.
Thanks everyone for reading this, and hopefully for your generous sponsorship.
