Story

At some point in our lives the majority of us will have to deal with someone close to us going through end of life care. The East Cheshire Hospice provides care, comfort and compassionate to patients and their loved ones to support families through this process.

All of their services are provided free of charge to those who need them. However, only 17% of their funding is from the government, so they are heavily reliant on donations and fundraising.

To help raise donations for the East Cheshire Hospice, Kyle and Angus have joined forces to take on an epic 210-mile cycle challenge from London to Leap29 in just 3 days.

On Wednesday 28th August, Kyle and Angus will be kicking off their cycle challenge in London, travelling to all the major landmarks across London including Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, London Eye, Downing Street and Buckingham Palace.

Then over the next 3 days they will be travelling through some of England’s major cities including Watford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Cannock, Stoke and then finishing at Leap29 office in Wilmslow, just outside of Manchester.

On the first night of their cycle challenge, Kyle and Angus will be staying at Sedgebrook Hall (www.sedgebrookhall.co.uk), located  in the charming village of Chapel Brampton in the heart of Northamptonshire countryside. As well as complimentary accommodation, Sedgebrook Hall are kindly providing full access to their spa facilities, which will be a well deserved treat after over 7 hours of cycling.

On the second night, Kyle and Angus will be staying in the spacious and modern Holiday Inn Birmingham North – Cannock (https://www.hibirminghamnorth.com/), who have generously provided complimentary accommodation during their cycle challenge. The Holiday Inn Birmingham North – Cannock is perfectly located, 5 hours from Northampton and  5 hours from Leap29 in Wilmslow, Cheshire their final destination.
