Story

This is me, Alex Radford. I live in Torrox Costa, Malaga, Spain. It has been my burning ambition to run the London Marathon and I am privileged to have been allocated a place to run for the Child Brain Injury Trust.

I have never run a Marathon before and I am absolutely terrified and delighted at the prospect of participating in the race and raising funds for a trust which specialises in helping families and children with acquired brain injury.

I am a Solicitor & Abogado with Irwin Mitchell Abogados and work in Malaga city centre. Irwin Mitchell Abogados is part of Irwin Mitchell LLP, one of the UK's largest Law Firms.

In 2013 I have a momentous birthday when I turn 40 so it will be great to run the Marathon during this big year, raise funds for the Charity and see my wife, children, family and friends when I cross (stumble) over the line!!!

I am going to keep a blog where I will record my training progress for the marathon and will keep you updated in respect of activities and events I am organising to raise funds for the trust.

To cheer me on and to donate to the Child Brain Injury Trust keep on visiting this page!!

Thank you in anticipation of your support!
