Welcome to Team King's - 100 of our amazing supporters who are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to support King's College Hospital Charity!

Story

I am the Matron for the Oasis Birth Centre at the Princess Royal University Hospital (the PRUH). Both myself and our ward manager , Debbie Cato area are taking on the 2024 London Landmarks Half Marathon to support King's College Hospital Charity! In particular, to raise money to refurbish the  birth centre, creating a beautiful, new space to support women with a physiological birth experience. This will include new equipment such as the multi-trac birth system to support upright and mobile positions in labour, new lighting and sound equipment and fresh vinyl wall coverings.

Your generous support will help us update our facilities and to create a safe, welcoming and home-from-home environment for women and families during their birth experiences, while also establishing a versatile area for a community midwifery hub, education, and wellness activities. Together, we can empower mothers, families, and our community for generations to come. Donate today and be a part of this very special journey!
