Story

On Sunday 3 April 2022 I'll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Centrepoint.  I run quite a bit (although not so much in 2022 - yipes!) but this is the first time I have done a run for charity.  So why now?

Centrepoint is the UK's leading charity for homeless young people, something which each day walking around in London reminds me as what an issue it is and how difficult it can be to make a start in life without the privilege that so many of us have.

Together with their partners, Centrepoint supports more than 14,000 homeless 16-25 year olds into a home and job every year through giving them a safe place to live and support with their health, education, and learning needs. They start them on a path to more independence and the ability to achieve their short and long term goals.

Hopefully none of you will have had to experience the problem of being homeless, in particular at such a young and vulnerable age.

Any support you can give to help this important cause would be hugely appreciated by me and by them.

Thank you.
