I am taking on the 2021 London Landmarks Half Marathon on 1st August, 2021 to support King's College Hospital Charity! 

It is important for me to do this with the support of my family, who lost their father and my husband, Michael Trussell in 2020.  Michael fought bravely to overcome his liver and cancer challenges, but sadly lost that fight on the 18th August 2020.  He was given  the most amazing positive support by the world renowned hepatology team and Macmillan nurses at King's College Hospital.  They all fought to save his life and they managed to give him two happy years before his liver disease took his life.  He was a much loved husband, father and grandfather to five grandchildren; Bea, Kit, Sonny, Nancy and Lois.  He loved his life, his family, his home and his dear friends.  He also loved seeing the wider world through travelling and was passionate about learning more.  He was a very young 72 yr old and had so much more to give in life.  For him, I am supporting those that supported him in his last years and also he would be proud that I am challenging myself too.  Love You Michael
